Looking for new U8 half ice drills
I have a set of drills but want to see what else is out there. Ive seen people try to teach U8s to cycle haha. thats useful but not for U8s. Or at least my U8s!
With the focus on the core skill for U8 of skating, passing, and stick handling
Thanks guys!

I gave a seminar on half ice practices and posted them in the files section. When I get back from this camp I will look for it.
Challenge I have now is 25 skaters one goalie with 4 definite skill levels from begginer to U17AAA.

Aberdeen here are some links for drills and games that fit the 8 year olds. Progress as far as the players are ready. I am also posting 20 model practices for beginners.

D - Games to Teach the Game

Games played full ice, cross ice, small area, etc., are the key to the ABC coaching model.
In games the players are in continually changing game situations and game playing roles.
Keep score, modify rules, create situations that your team needs to practice.
