One of my players (12 yo girl) is struggling with crossovers (but only when going to the right).
When she is on the outside blade on her right skate, her ankle "gives way" and bends, making her unable to finish the stride.
I've tried to illustrate by the red lines in the attached picture.
Anyone who has experience with this? Any tips how to help her? And if this is a ankle-strength issue - any ideas for ankle strength exercises?
