O - Dynamic Pre Game Warm up with the 07-08 MRC Women's Team
Before a game players should do a dynamic warm up and after do static stretching. The warm up should include hockey specific movements. My college women's team developed this warm up to help them bond during a tough championship series vs the University of Calgary (we won). They do leg swings, light running, striding etc. and then move to a team warm up to music. I think it helped us a lot in my five seasons coaching there.
