Neutral Zone game (File Attached):
3 on 3 in the N.Z. whenever the puck crosses the "imaginary goal line." Two Defense grab a new puck to continue the play. Offensive team has to work on their NZ offense/transition where the Def. team needs to get into their NZ Def. (We have older players and use a 1-2-2). After the puck goes in it';s still 3 on 3.
Thoughts?

Eric, the file isn't attached.

We played a NZ 5v5 game last night at practice to work on gap control by D. A point was awarded to the team that carried or passed the puck over the attacking blueline. The team that was scored upon was replaced by a new group of 5. Play started from a center ice faceoff. Offensively if the zone was unavailable they needed to regroup and defensively they needed to take away time and space.
