Great Sweep vs. Fire Red – time to prepare for Provincials.

The league is very even. Two 7 teams divisions northern and southern Alberta. Everyone makes playoffs and top team gets a first round bye. Red Deer was first in the south. All three series of the 2-7 teams went three games. We won ours and played Calgary Red to gain a spot in Provincials. We won both games 2-1 winning the second game with 45" left. Really hard fought games. Our specialty teams came through for us. Now on to the 5 team Provincial tournament in Lloydminster.
