0 – Loose Puck (about 30%of the time.
1 – Team on offense (about 35% of the time)
2 – Team on defense (about 35% of the time)
Four Game Playing Roles
Offense
Role 1 – the player with the puck.
Role 2 – the players supporting the puck carrier.
Defense:
Role 3 – Closest defender checking the puck carrier using pressure or contain skills.
Role 4 – Other defenders playing man to man or zone.
