It is a round robin with each team playing 4 games in 3 days and the top 2 play for gold and 3-4 for bronze.
We won our first game 6-2 against Red Deer. Second game we beat Lloydminster 4-1. Fire Red beat us 0-4 in our second game of the day. Game four we lost 2-3 in OT vs Grande Prairie. We finished third in standings with a 2-1-1 record but had to win our last game to be in gold final. Played Red Deer for the Bronze and won 4-2 with two late goals. One on the power play and one empty netter.
It was a successful season and our young small team improved a lot in the seven month together.
