Are there any places in Europe for young players (13 to 18) to go train for the summer with excellent instructors. Trying to find a place for some players to develop their game on the large ice surfaces. Work on their skating and puck handling.

I know of two places in Austria. In Salzburg the Red Bull organization brings in players for it's U17 and U20 teams. They go to school (some do online) and practice twice a day on and off ice. You have to arrange a tryout and be very good. Another place is St. Polten near Vienna. Same thing that you go to school and practice and play on their team. This school is run by the Okanagan Hockey School http://hockeyschool.com Look it up on a search engin. Elias Vorlicek is in charge. He is a Canadian who played in Europe and married a German girl.

They have camps in the Czech Republic and other countries.

The Edge School for Athletes in Calgary just built two rinks and they practice often on the international sized one. It isn't a residential school but is private and already has a lot of players drafted by the NHL, a few in the top 2 rounds. (only about 10 years old as a school and started with 7 skaters)
